Image and sound as well as presentation superb, what is the quality of blu-ray image HD splendid, fine extra, it is beautiful and bright, how can you even look at a dvd when we saw it but hey, that's a different topic, to each his very eyes! The series is very gripping, the time to put the situation and all of the characters, after as of the 7th episode it gets exciting and of a very high intensity. And what a season! Even if I've already seen it once, I still had chills. If you don't want to redo it, a quick summary is available in the first disc. It is with great anticipation that I watched this new chapter. I had been so mesmerized by the end of the last episode, I had received a slap and that he has had to wait so many years to know that generally the new seasons of the series started a few months after the last one, I was like a child on Christmas day when he unwraps his gifts. We have the answer to certain mysteries like the horde, but we still discover new ones. The actors are like us, they look as lost as the viewers. The pace is still a second slow. It is difficult to tell you more about the story without spoiler. I can, however, tell you that there are now two camps in this small village and its surroundings : the living and the dead. Two community. It is what it is, I'm a fan of the idea. On Earth, who would not want to see again a dead person as a ghost? Except that here, these people are strange and scary. Some are normal and the 3/4 act like zombies but with an intelligence bonus. When I speak of zombies I am not saying that to say that they kill and eat, no no, as you well know after seeing the end of the first chapter. Whatever, for some you could say it like that but shhh. A lot of flash-back, 35 years earlier and we understand the death of several people. Victor, the boy, who is very mystical, it is still more strange and hides many more secrets than you might think. If I still liked this cover, I prefer the first season. Characters I miss and those who are still present are often the most annoying and head slams, the same goes for the newcomers (for their roles, I precise), while in the first season they appeared sympathetic. But where I've preferred this is the end. It is so weird, there are branches everywhere, to the history of all the characters that we are following now in 16 episodes, there are so many points in the script without response, without revelation, that it is infuriating. I'm lost. And the worst of the worst is that just before you see the final, I learned that there will probably be no season 3. Not because of the hearings (although they are in very big drop), but the writers have wanted us to do more than open where everyone can give his knowledge on what he thinks. We'll have to wait a few more years? Or then not need to wait because the series is really finished? Even on that we are in the fog. Worse than Lost :) I so want to have a sequel, revisit this beautiful world and go back into that atmosphere if successful and great in scenery breathtaking with a soundtrack from Mogwai that will remain in my memories. It takes the series even higher. This is the first time on a series that I hope to be as much of a renewal of a new season. And why not the last, but at least it explains everything. I don't like this kind of open end. Especially with so many falsehoods. BONUS :More than lean : just a making-of of less than 8 minutes.. What to say of this series! A good story has to follow, great actors and, of course, zombies that take you to the guts! Bought for a person who has missed the entire season, she was very happy to be up to date before season 6 and it allows me to enjoy it, too.. The series continues to be exciting and corresponds to a reality of our days. the actors are also excellent... We look forward to the Saiso 5 forward. Simply one of the best series of recent years, must-own alongside "The Wire" or "The Sopranos". Formidable actors, especially Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, achievement very neat, music, perfect, photography, top, scenario well-done. These series are small masterpieces.. Always a great pleasure to see, in this season, our two brothers (vampires) Salvatore and Elena, the object of their quest, become a vampire also, evolve with the seasons, among other creatures, friendly or enemy. What is lacking, however, to spice it up a little history, a character.... gay, and yes! he is a vampire, lycan, witch, or human, no matter as in other series (think true blood, teen wolf,..) because the "triangle" in love seems to be slowing down in the long run. I think that the imagination of filmmakers have already thought of it, because the scenario is well adjusted to each episode. We have a lycan who loves a vampire, a vampire who loves a human and a witch who is in love with a human, but good it is not enough to our imagination and insatiable. Strongly season 5 because the addiction to this series, well done (bu-ray OK - 23 episodes 41 mins + bonus) is present. Good personally I prefer the 1 but good film, fan film DC and Marvel, never above. Some better than other, but it is second part my satisfiedI like this particular vision of the Story that might seem more close to the life of our ancestors as described by our (former) school books, very good actors, beautiful scenery, explaining the why and the how of "books" in the previous, what more to ask.
